Why We Test Every Batch in Australian Labs
At Elite Peps Australia, we believe that trusting a manufacturer's certificate of analysis is not quality assurance — it's assumption. That's why every batch of every product we sell is independently tested in Australian laboratories before it is made available to our customers.
Our testing process uses two industry-standard analytical methods: High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Mass Spectrometry (MS). Together, these methods verify both the purity and the molecular identity of each peptide compound.
HPLC Testing — Purity Verification
HPLC is the gold standard for peptide purity analysis. It separates the components of a sample and measures the proportion of the target peptide relative to any impurities. Our peptides consistently achieve 99%+ purity as measured by HPLC analysis.
This method detects synthesis by-products, degradation products, and contaminants that could affect research outcomes. By testing every batch ourselves, we ensure that what's on the label matches what's in the vial.
Mass Spectrometry — Identity Confirmation
Mass Spectrometry confirms the molecular weight and identity of the peptide. This ensures that the compound in the vial is exactly the peptide it's supposed to be — not a substitute, not a degradation product, and not a mislabelled compound.
While purity tells you how clean a sample is, Mass Spectrometry tells you what the sample actually is. Both are essential for reliable research.
How Our Process Differs From Competitors
Most peptide suppliers in Australia receive a Certificate of Analysis (COA) from their manufacturer or supplier. This COA was produced in the manufacturer's own lab — often overseas — and represents the manufacturer's claims about their own product. The supplier then passes this certificate to you as "proof" of quality.
We take a fundamentally different approach:
- Step 1: We source peptides from reputable manufacturers
- Step 2: Upon receipt, we send samples to Australian laboratories for independent testing
- Step 3: HPLC analysis verifies purity (must exceed 99%)
- Step 4: Mass Spectrometry confirms molecular identity
- Step 5: Only batches that pass both tests are approved for sale
- Step 6: Lab reports are retained and available to customers on request
Any batch that fails to meet our 99%+ purity standard is rejected. No exceptions.
Request a Lab Report
Full HPLC and Mass Spectrometry lab reports are available for every product we sell. You can request the lab report for your specific batch at any time.
Visit our Lab Reports page to view available reports, or email us at admin@elitepepsaustralia.com and we'll send you the report for your batch within 24 hours.
